Today was nice though, the day started off with a little bit of rain and a lot of grey clouds but that soon dispersed as we headed off for our day trip to Coochiemudlo Island. Tim was to meet someone over there for business talk.

Coochiemudlo Island is about 45 minutes drive south for us, and it is located in Moreton Bay, just before Stradbroke Island. It is only a small place, about a mile square but it was nice the man we met over there provided us with lunch and a tour of the Island, showing us some good places to go for holidays. The water was warm and while Tim and the man discussed business, the kids and Judith headed down to the beach for a swim and play in the sand, to be accompanied by Tim not long after. The beach was beautifully clean and the water was clear apart from where the seagrass started (it is a dugong feeding ground there). It was a good day and we all had fun.

Come on millers - tell us what you have been up to
Mum and Dad - you can definitely use this as you travel around the globe to keep us up todate with your daily travels. Most hotels and motels will have internet facilities, and most of the poeple you are staying with will also have them, otehrwise an internet cafe should not be too hard to find.
Dave - hows the Joshua house going?
Jon and Rufus - whats been happening in your youth group?
Sjoerd and Pris - we hear from you like once a year - heres your chance to tell us more
Jo and Frank - thanks for all the fantastic photos - keep them coming - and feel free to post them here if you want.
You can compose your text offline if you want and then copy and paste in here so as to limit the time on line.
Jono - how's the packing going? - same thing as mum and dad - you can keep us up to date with prayer requests and news etc from Ukraine using this real easy.

Our kids are excited about Christmas! - So are we!

To upload pictures you need to click "upload file"
then in the little box that comes up you use the browse button to find your picture. (pre edited to around 300 pixels square and file names need to be short as possible with no spaces in them)
the upload path needs to read /public_html/blog/blogimages/
and leave the file name the same (unless you need to edit it)
Click "Upload" and then when the next box comes up use the inline option.
Thats it!

Heres an example

Yesterday we finished the Christmas shopping. Utilising a $10 gift voucher we purchased 2 strings of lights for the tree, a pack of xmas cards, candy canes for the tree and a box of christmas crackers. Good value.
Heres a picture of the tree before the lights went on

You need to create an account at Blogger and then login and then you can create posts in this page
