About Patrick

I have been; a Roman Catholic with 12 years spent in Catholic schools, an Anabaptist living in the Lancaster county area, an antinomian pastor of antinomian churches, a Christian school principal, consultant in instructional development and computer applications, Cryptologic Technician / Analyst / Linguist in the US Navy, traveling Gospel musician & song writer, Computer Science instructor at Michigan State University, CPR instructor, manager of information systems, product consultant for a professional health education company, 3 year resident of Korea, senior management of a Canadian-American Christian communications company.

I am; a Protestant, small businessman & consultant, property owner, small scale farmer / gardener (French Bio-intensive, drip irrigation, pastured poultry, orchard), occasional musician and song writer, Christian curriculum developer (Sunday school, camp, home school, Christian school, etc.) father of 3, husband of 1, home church pastor. Alas, to be a jack in all these trades is to be acutely aware that I am a master of none; but many of these pieces hold together in view of the Biblical culture that peeks out at us from the pages of Scripture.

Patrick Hannon’s information technology career began in 1971 with FORTRAN programming. Over the years, he has worked as;

  5.    Instructor at MSU of a graduate course in Computer Science
  6.    Custom applications programmer
  7.    Project manager of various systems acquisitions

  10. U.S Navy Cryptologic technician
  11. "Headhunter" for technology, accounting, and sales positions
  12. "Technical training materials" developer and trainer
He holds a Masters degree from Michigan State University in Systems Development (1985) and has also attended Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He is also a Mager certified instructional developer.
